Swollen cord-stump after castration?

I got castrated three years ago, because the boys were inflammated, hard and numb. The right one cut out inguinal, got examinamed in pathology with result: no cancer.

Thereby the left one got cut out from his sac-shelf directly, so i have the cord stump still in my inguinal left. It was often swollen over some days sporadically in the first year after castration. Than it decreased with the time.

Now - shortly after a TURP at 13. Oktober - the stump got swollen again. I believe or feel until 1 cm diameter. Also my lymph nodes are swollen, but only less pain, more uncomfortably. The doc gave me antibiotics, but the swelling will not go down again.

has anyone here such experineces or advice, what could be and what to do?

I hope or would wish, that the stump has to cut out still. It will be a little surgery, but my Uro is a bit hesitantly....

Bad humor but I must: You got me stumped, that's for sure. (See a good surgeon).

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
