Three years yesterday since our first trip to UCSF with no idea what to expect or all there would be to learn about a new way of life.

Yep! The sailors, artists, athletes, adventurers...And then the way you unknowingly bring back such good memories of my Dad. He loved fishing in Mexico & Alaska, but Hawaii was his number one love. Diving, fishing, living ... he lived !

Awww Sista, ya never know what a random conversation/post could set off as in deeply buried Ohana memories. Lately I've been saying to my patients that I feel like I'm a pawn on a 4D Chessboard and that there are no coincidences and I'm guided by God/Fates/Karma over my almost 9 years with #stageivpca 💙 and thus helping me make Ripples and Spread Aloha

My father, 100% Japanese born in Oakland CA. His grandparents moved here from Japan, not sure of origin.

Retired from IAM Union and moved to Hawaii 1985, was Molokai farmer for 17 years.

Great QOL post. Thank you for sharing.

In the last few months the diversity of QOL posts have been outstanding. I don't recall them all, but they've included:

- painting

- sailing

- renewing vows

- food porn

- Doc's adventures

- poetry

- skiing

-hot tubing with friends

- Celebrations

- sporting events

- grandkids

- tractoring in the snow

- humor

Now we add ranching and cowboying/cowgirling. Great illustration of how this disease strikes across all on mankind, and an affirmation of how determined many of us are to LIVE while we are alive.
