From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for the prayer card you sent, obviously, it just arrived... I'm grateful and I'm just bowled over of how you took the time to include the beautiful "sunshine" greeting card and the blue ribbon stickers as well as the song lyrics page....
I'm convinced God is using you to touch others not only on this forum, but through your regular walk in life... Because of you and your qol posts, I'm finding I've become much more hopeful and appreciative of every moment that I may have left to celebrate life...
You're a wonderful man sir, and again I thank you!

Awww, so glad that you received it, and it's my pleasure also💙
The cards are made by my office biller and we have them on my Front Desk for sale and I chose upbeat ones.
I have a bunch of Blue Ribbon stickers, and I try and remember to include them in whatever I'm sending.
I bought a bunch for my 5 day Camino Frances walk in Northern Spain with son, his wife, and their friend. It was Sept 2019 and since it was PCa Awareness Month, I placed Blue ribbons on signs along The Camino in Spain
AGREED! Randy is an angel! I’m a PCa wife and Randy took me under his wings when I needed it most. Even up to a few hours ago, he walked me off a ledge over a concern I had with my husbands test results He somehow knows how to bring light and hope. The king of “QoLing” and my new big bro. Forever grateful 🙏
As a DDS, I have to advise/discuss/educate pts about treatments etc and have just transitioned to PCa matters 😁 so it comes naturally for me to be avuncular/paternal/bigbroish. I've had various staff/pts over the years seek advice over a wide range of topics.
Also, I'm a Chatty Cathy too 😜.
As I've said before I love being here with y'all with #stageivpca and I wouldn't change a thing - like doing a follow up to the 2010 PSA @ 4.7 a wee bit sooner than 2014 when it was 552.2 🤣
Luv ya Sis - we gotta meet up when things stabilize for hubs. Imma still do ZERO Long Beach 5k and I got tix that night for "Tina" at the Pantages at 6:30 .
Awwww, Mahalo nui loa for that 😊💙I do feel #Blessed and one of my pts who's been with my office for > 20 years arranged for a Year of Healing Masses for me🙏
She has also offered to host me for hospice as I'm alone up here.
I've only been here a few months (Eric was dx'd last fall), but it didn't take me long to gravitate to the warmth and light that Randy brings to this group. I've directed Eric to a number of his posts. Carry on, Randy, you are a gift to all of us!
I ain't used to praise for what y'all believe are laudable acts. I've pretty much always been polite, courteous, and helpful. But, last Summer here on HU there were Trolls and Ad Hominem attacks on forum members. That's when I started the "Life's too short to stay home" posts as a diversion from the drudgery of SEs which, Mahalo to Kaliber ,became QoLs.
So, just kinda kicked it up a notch or a 100 LoL. It just comes so naturally now eg the Prayer Cards - I was browsing at the Mission Gift Shop and saw those and that light bulb went off and I bought a bunch.
Last December at home in Hawaii, I shipped up 2023 Hawaii Calendars and PM'd a few on HU to see if they wanted one. The Farting Sparkles Tee was sent by an HU member whom I mailed a calendar😁
I'm making those Ripples and Spreading Aloha. In this article from 2020 there's a quote at the end tehachapinews.com/lifestyle...
Post #stageivpca Dx, I had bibs on my back during marathons exhorting men to get checked, then started to honor men taken by PCa. Next Sunday in Long Beach, I'm doing the ZERO 5k ( maybe with an HU member or two) and have names from previous bibs and about 16 from here on HU.
My wife Andrea worked for Dr Kam many years ago & we have both been patients over the years as well, I wished we lived closer now, but that's the way it goes. He's a great man & an inspiration. He helped me out with my own PC journey & I deeply appreciate that. Keep being who you are Doc! And Fight On!
