I am booked to go on a cruise later this year and have started looking for suitable travel insurance. The company recommended by the cruise line says they cannot offer me cover because I am being treated for prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. I've started searching for a company that will cover me but I know that some of you have been on cruises recently with metastatic PCa so wondered if you could recommend a travel insurance company that covers cruises to and from the UK for UK nationals?
I need to pay the balance of the cruise tomorrow so any suggestions would be very welcome!
Thanks.

P&O but actually I noticed a previous thread asking the same question and someone recommended Insurancewith. I've just been through the screening process and they've accepted to cover me for £95 which isn't bad considering so I've just paid it.
5 years ago my late wife and I got travel insurance from Squaremouth--she had advanced lung cancer at the time. It is possible that some of the rules are different in different states. There is a waiver for pre-existing conditions--the proviso is that you have to purchase the insurance within a short time of booking the trip--I believe it was 2 weeks (but wouldn't swear to it).
Thanks maggie, I've thankfully never had to claim on travel insurance but I've heard stories that companies generally try to wriggle out of responsibility when claims are submitted. My main goal was to at least get cruise cover which on paper, covered my condition so as to satisfy the cruise company, I've also sent you an IM.
