Has anyone had experience with Lynparza and ATM mutation?

ATM and Parp Inhibitor Lynparza
Even though it's approved, it's not a good idea:
DH was on Lynparza for about a year. He has an ATM mutation. His MO was very encouraging based on previous experience with another patient. Unfortunately, Lynparza did not work ( based on scans and rising PSA ). He had no real side effects and tolerated it better than Xtandi.
I hesitated to comment because I had previously reported that my husband had a BRCA2 mutation but it’s actually ATM. He’s been on Lynparza since September 2020. His last PSA was 0.04. He was treated with abiraterone prior to the Lynparza which worked only 4 months. He completed Xofigo treatment October 2021. Both treatments were suggested on his genomic findings.
Wow never hesitate to comment! So glad that it is working well for him!
They are all different and different combinations work differently for each of them. I think that's the hardest thing for everyone to wrap their mind around is that what works for one is not necessarily what works for the other it's not a cookie cutter ordeal.
Great news that he found something that is working for him!
