I have had great luck with Ostarine though everyone is different. It dropped my PSA and I have built huge amounts of muscle with high protein diet and lifting heavy 5 days a week

I would favor further pursuit of TRT (with appropriate monitoring) in your situation to garner all of the benefits of restoring normal to high T levels. Perhaps a different more open minded physician? You are at much higher risk for adverse health outcome from your severe sarcopenia and osteoporosis. Did you get off the fence about Zolendronic acid and start treatments?

An androgenic non-steroid SARM May help you to restore more muscle and strength along with resistance training. Enobosarm (GTX-024) is one shown to be effective for cancer caused muscle wasting without significant adverse effects, so may be an easier sell to a doctor, though also available elsewhere. As is Osterine (MK-2866) but must be reliably sourced, etc. Other SARMs May not have suppressive activity on any residual prostate cancer, so I would stick with Enobosarm.

See linked article for further support, especially summary conclusions.

Osterine and enobosarm are the same, and can be safely purchased at chemyo for lab experiments. I also would hurry up and buy a bunch as it is in phase3 trial for breast cancer and is being fast tracked by FDA. Once it becomes an FDA approved drug forget about getting it unless you have BC and then it will be very expensive. There is also a new form of Osterine which is esterified I believe.

been reading about ostarine and that you should only take it for a short term due to side effects, I was thinking about taking it for my locally advanced prostate cancer t3b no mo because my testosterone has not recovered and that is why I now have severe osteoporosis-2.5 and 4.1 lumbar spine, I am having zoledronic acid infusion on the 25th this month I am dreading it.

please check your E2 estrodiol and if low which it most likely is i would get a script for low dose E2 DERMAL PATCH. Then start resistance training.

Of course run that by your DOC. That is exactly what I would do. Oh and before you go to your doc do research on E2 add back and estrogen and bone health.

You reference long term Osterine problems but that is for body builders (Normals lol, people without PCa). They have to do cycles off of it to restore lost T. We don’t want to restore T.

Are you 8 stones from cancer treatments? Your bio has nothing about your cancer

So you finished treatment 7 years ago and your T hasn’t recovered.

Have you been losing weight lately or have you been holding steady at your present weight.

I asked my MO recently what do you monitor for castrate resistance as it pertains to a neuroendocrine cancer besides the LDH test you order and he the first thing he said is sudden weight loss.

it's the muscle mass I've lost when they took my testosterone away, my weight has stayed the same.

So your PSA had been undetectable for 7 years after your treatments? Has your OC said your cured?

Would you be kind enough to write in your bio what your treatments were?

This is so important for the rest of us to know what worked.

thanks, when I started rt a document said for control, but after a few rounds of rt oncologist said going for cure, how do you know if you are cured unless you have some testosterone, I have a psa check every 6 months, I had my last one last month 0.03,
