Those blooms and the photos are lovely.

If I was DocKam I would post a Seals and Crofts video here:

So let your sweet rain fall on me, for I am dying

We're desert people and we're in pain, but we're still trying

We've been down so long, we are dry, we are thirsty

So you see the rain we must have, is the tears you shed long ago

"Farther along, we'll find our way, through all of the darkness today

The Sun of Reality has dawned above eternity...

...Now, even the desert will bloom. Even the desert will bloom"

One of my favorites, but I was thinking of "Desert People". Found a version on YouTube, but not the one I remember.

I won't say you are wrong, everyone is entitled to their own misguided opinion, but I have them:

1) Hummingbird

2) Summer Breeze

3) Diamond Girl

4) King of Nothing

Lets not even open up the debate on some of the other harmony, jazz influenced groups like Steely Dan. I'd hate to ruin a good friendship

was out on my etrike a couple days ago and saw this spray of chinese wisteria over a neighbor’s front door. Beautiful and fragrant. Blurry in the foreground is a large bush of lady banks roses.

cool!! E trike? Luv to see pic of that?

looks like a moped from the front, mobility cart from the back. Goes 20 mph in bike lanes and being a mobility cart , legal on hike and bike trails ( same as a ebike inside) … and has switches to change it up to mobility cart action to drive up and down the isles in supermarkets and drugstores. Batteries last about 3.5 hours when new. Goes a long way and if I drain it, I can call for transportation to pick me up ( the Silverado ) , or conversely I have a charging station installed on the truck or hooks up to any EV charging station. For those of us crippled by ADT, this is a godsend.

😁😁😁

that is so awesome!! May have to upgrade, I’ve just got an ebike and it’s very heavy to lift on a bike rack , it does fold tho

I love that model of ebike , you don’t fall over getting on and off, mine was a bit squirrelly steering but you get used to it pretty quick. If you are going to put it in a vehicle or us some short steps, a plastic portable ramp works great. I know several people that use those. They are light and strong. That’s a great bike, unless you need the stability of a etrike, I’d stick with that great bike. Etrikes come with their own issues, …. Think “ that “ is heavy ? My etrike is a very heavy tank with its own issues. Yayahahahaya

Yeah I think it’s getting too heavy to lift up onto the bike rack because it’s got those 4 inch fat tires, think a ramp is in order

these come with their own set of problems tho. Only two shops in the area of 1.1 million would accept a flat tire to fix. Both failed and returned it to me flat. I had to buy my own specialized tools and shop needs ( Compressor , bead blaster, etc. ) And carcasses to service my own tires. I’ve been asked by others to help them with their specialized tires like mine. Taking from the e-bikes hobby ( see mine below ) I’ve puncture proofed my tires ( make them tubeless and fill the rim with sealant ) . Batteries are a constant maintenance need, like golf carts. It takes several hundred dollars worth of tools, loads, meters etc. to service the batteries properly for reliability.

Batteries cost about $400 a set, I have two sets on the bench , ( one new one high grade used for shorted replacements ) . and of course a set in the trike.

a new cottage industry?😊. I bought my e-bike online and nobody in my area will service it, I’ve learned if you don’t buy it from your local dealer they don’t wanna touch it

wow , it’s good to meet a fellow e-biker . People that have never ridden one of those can’t possibly know the thrill and excitement those bring to a rider. They are everywhere nowadays , I seemed to be about the only one in town when I got my first one, no shops in town would even get me parts for my original Addmotor mountain bike. Now there are numerous shops in town that feature e-bikes as their main service yayaya. We have that little tiny scrub thorn bush , here, that decimates bike tires off-road. Nearly every time out I got a flat. Looking around on YouTube there were videos to fix that. You pulled the tube ( those 4” tires seem like they are tissue thin yayayayayha. ) , then wrapped the inside rim with a lining that made it tubeless. Then dump in 16 oz oz of green goo or those rubber threads sealants and you’re good to go. I never had a flat after that. I rode my old addmotor 1000 mountain bike hundreds and hundreds of miles. I wore out several sets of tires and a couple of batteries. On both my e-bikes I mounted a rack for an extra battery. I’d ride out until I got real low and turn around and go back until the battery was too low. Then I’d simply switch batteries to the fresh one and I had plenty to get back home. You can do a “ lot “ of exploring with that setup. Yayahahahaya and it’s comforting to know you can get back without calling your help Yayahahahaya.

I loved the ebike best but you can’t go to the zoo on a ebike or up and down the isles at CVS Pharmacy, so I guess they balance out generally . 😁😁😁

I can get about 30 miles on a full charge a spare battery would attach to my rack on the back but it’s 750 bucks so I try to limit my miles in just my neighborhood ,

ebike hobby I had to sell when my cancer ravaged skeleton became crispy fragile ( you fall over getting on or off those, a lot ). Big one is an addmotor 1000 mountain bike, and a folding ebike a motan 700 for the hammer. These can easily traverse 40 miles in between charges. Extra batteries cost $500 apiece for these. Those go just about anywhere and literally make you feel 15 years old again. Very little effortless pedaling takes you 40 miles on any hike and bike trails.

Like the etrike on back of the truck, you can do the same thing for e-bikes to take them places like the exotic pacific coast H&B trail.
