PSA doubled after 2nd shot of Lu177 PNT2002

On Jan 24th, I had my second infusion of Lu177 PNT2002. Minimal side effects other than some fatigue a few days after each infusion. Meanwhile I have completed 4 weeks after that and the my PSA went up by doubling since pre- treatment, from 14 to 28.

I will check the protocol of the SPLASH clinical trial. I will check my portal too. I know I have done an initial PET scan.

The SPLASH trial had an initial PET scan but results were for research only and not posted. Meanwhile I added in these thread the results of the previous one, done about 5 months before the first of Lu infusion.

I asked specifically about an FDG PET scan because it can sometimes weed out patients who are unlikely to respond to 177LuPSMA:

This is PSMA PET/CT. The report is cut halfway and there is not description of cancer mets. It will be important to know how many mets you had and the SUV values and also the SUV value of the liver.

It is my understanding that patients on LU-177 treatment may experience PSA rises in the short term as active cancer cells are killed, and that the hoped-for significant PSA decrease may not come until later in the course of treatment.

On the day before my 3rd infusion of Lu177 PNT2002, my bone scan shows increase in size of my old mets and numerous new mets. It is obvious that the Lu177 didn't work in my case. Tomorrow I am declining the 3rd shot. What next??
