Has anyone used this for chemo? What is the likelihood of it helping where Docetaxel and Cabazitaxel did not work at all? Thank you

Mitoxantrone did not extend overall survival, just mitigated pain. Docetaxel compared with Mitoxantrone did extend overall survival. I would not take it.

Might be an option for pain. Docetaxel did nothing for my husband.

You have not tried Cabazitaxel yet. This usually works when Docetaxel fails. Why can your husband get no Pluvicto?

Neither chemo worked. Lu177 was what we went to India for but there was a lot of FDG positive cancer compared to PSMA positive. Bone marrow infiltration too. Both indications made the RO there worry about that as an option. They said try Ac option but it needed longer planning than we had done.

Has he had radiotherapy of the painful sites?

yes to the pelvis on both sides, left shoulder, left foot, left knee. But now RO says save it for consistently painful areas as he is not keen to radiate all over. The bone scan says multiple bone mets and they are in legs and many men only get them in the torso area.

I know a man who used it, and it helped a lot with pain. It was the chemo drug for PCa before docetaxel came along. I think it is underused.

Thank you. I will try to get the MO to try it while we keep up with Abiraterone. Maybe a combination will hold things back.

It is palliative only.

This link has the results of a search about mitoxantrone and prostate cancer. There are multiple articles to give you and idea about the use of this drug in the treatment of PC:

Thank you. We have not been offered it. I research and then have to convince the MO who is not keen to try anything much.

Is this MO a guy called Beresford?

No

I suggest you ask for a second opinion. They are obliged to comply with this request in the UK.
