A very sad day for sure. He was one of my favorite radio talk show guests and I enjoyed his facebook posts. He made a great stride in prostate cancer awareness in Columbus, Ohio.

Sad indeed! This just goes to show us all that APC can take out even the strongest of men …. Even top athletes ! Rip ✌️😔

Our Buckeye family is very sad to hear this news.

This one hit me especially hard. Dimitrious was diagnosed a year before me and had it in remission for awhile. He was always a positive person who the entire Buckeye family will miss dearly. 🙏

Four years after diagnosis. Tragic, and another patient who didn’t make it past five years.

Reminder that many people don’t survive five years, and why I roll my eyes when someone glibly tells new readers here those statistics are meaningless.

RIP Dimitrious, you made your struggle public to raise awareness, which inspires me to continue doing that on social media.

This is very sad to lose someone so young.

God's Blessings to him, His family and friends.

From his obituary: Stanley was struck by the rising medical costs and began a nonprofit organization to advocate for prostate cancer research and provided patients with financial support. Over the past few years, Brave Men Inc. has provided multiple care grants to men with prostate cancer who could not afford their medical bills.

Great man, taken way too early, but he did so much in his time on Earth. God bless.
