It started with a hike to Akaka Falls, the drive there took longer than the hike, but oh it was worth it 👌

Drove back down and found a Waterfront park, so did another mile

Broke Fast with leftover Poke, Shrimp chips and Beers

Got goodies from Walmart

Special Chow Mein from 1 plus 1 restaurant.

I cleaned up Randy’s post, I just wanted you to see those posts , to show you we are more alike than you probably expect and to acknowledge that QOL fun can be wide and encompassing for all of us.

I’m not in a wheelchair exactly , I’m in a etrike and a wheeled chair where the etrike isn’t practical. I can barely walk and if I went off Lupron Xtandi, in short order I’d be able to walk again like everyone else . I’m medication disabled …so to speak.

We love you buddy … seriously.

you wives, daughters and family …. Esp wives are the backbone and “ main support “ that gives loving care and nurturing to us croakers and that is probably the most important part of our existence. Without you our lives would sink into a miserable unbearable abyss. Important beyond any measure. I think of the coupla guys here I know that are alone , with distant or no family and I can’t help but feel anguish for them .

You gals get little to no Recognition most of the time … but you deserve it in huge amounts. All of you suffer right there beside us …. While trying to maintain “ the happy face “ … and even worse , we’ll be gone , our suffering and sadness finally over. It’s” you “ that are left behind shouldering all the physical responsibilities and emotional baggage …. In many ways this is even harder for you guys , emotionally, than us. It’s hard to say enough good things about you ladies .. you deserve the recognition. I’m thankful , I’m absolutely sure all the other guys fortunate enough to have you feel the same way. A heartfelt thank you. ❤️❤️❤️

my type of Buddhist doesn’t proselytize . Soto Zen practice is rigorous and difficult … it takes people “ called by the still small voice “ . You can PM me if you want , after you’ve thought about it for a while, I’ll point you to my Monastery ..their web site is filled with info and teachings as well.
