I read about Rusland experience with tandem theraphy.

Does anyone know if this type of tandem theraphy is available somewhere in Europe?

Thank you! Austria or Italy would be the closest to us, but Finland is also not that far (coming from Slovenia).

As long as your dad has no bone metastases, I would not try to get a tandem therapy. A Lu177 therapy works well with lymph node metastases and avoids possible side effects from Ac225.

Tango mentioned Dr Hartenbach in Vienna for Lu177 therapy, email: m.hartenbach@minute-medical.com

Thank you! We have scans planned for second part of January, as soon as we will get results, I will take action! I will also push for genetic testing's (his mom had ovarian cancer and his brother had thyroid, kidney and prostate cancer).

You can still ask the pathologist to send the biopsy probes from 2016 for a genetic test.

As far as I know the combo ac + lu is only being offered at Fortis Memorial in New Dehli and in a hospital in Baku, Azerbajdan, 6500 USD pr treatment.

Getting my father on a plane would be very difficult. I will try in Europe, but I will still have Baku in mind. I know a couple of people in Baku through work so I would also have support there. I would of course travel with my dad, either in Europe or beyond.

I got this answer from UKS in Homburg, close to Frankfurt.

«The cost for one cycle Ac+LuPSMA (without treatment by chief physician) is around 12.000 €.»

Try the university of Heidelberg. Went there four times . Both AC-225 and LU-177. Psa for 26 months is <0.1.

I suggest you write to the international office to begin. There is a service to arrange all this for you with a fee. I did not use them as i thought I was able to do hi myself for there fees are HIGH. I can help you with all necessary for your journey. My daughter went with me . She was wonderful in all arrangements. Air , lodging etc. Good luck.

Thank you very much! I used to travel frequently for business before covid, so I should be able to arrange things like lodging, transport etc. I will contact you in case I will have any questions. Again, many thanks for your kindness and support. I hope your cancer stays dormant / under control for many years to come!
