I'm interested in hearing about personal experiences using Relugolix, and how the severity of its side effects compares with side effects of Lupron.
Relugolix: I'm interested in hearing... - Advanced Prostate...
Relugolix
In my experience side effects are much better with Relugolix....... less fatigue, fewer hot flashes, etc...
What you are calling "side effects" is really the effect of low testosterone. The difference with Relugolix is avoiding the initial hormone flair and the type and severity of possible cardiac effect (QT). If your testosterone is low...despite the drug used...then you will most likely have the same effects (hot flashes, weight gain, muscle loss, etc.)
Although Orgovyx is new, relatively, Degarelix is the same drug. There is well established side effect profiles and data associated with that drug and will be the same for the oral form.
I took it a little over a year, had to stop and switch to Degarelix due to possible issues with absorbtion. Otherwise I've had little side effects from Lupron, Orgovyx or now Degarelix. Everyone is different and YOU won't know until you try it! Great advantage with a pill, is it can be stopped if adverse side effects are experienced. Orgovyx T response is pretty much immediate, either starting or stopping, as opposed to waiting for a shot to wear off... So do it and see how it works for you.
Best Regards
