Of coarse, it's just brown water.

My husband has often has white coffee in his ‘Zytiga’-3-hour period, but you are not supposed to have anything. As I understand it, by having a small amount of milk in this time, absorption of the Abiraterone goes up a bit.

is that before you brush your teeth?

I've been having coffee within 30 minutes (or less) of my Zytiga for over 3-1/2 years.....no ill effects. (that I know of)

I have been taking Zytiga for several months now. The only dietary restrictions I am aware of is not to eat 2 hours prior or 1 hour after…So I would say yes you can take with a cup of tea

I just started abiraterone and I was told to take it with food.

Umm, no! Do a bit of research, standard is 4 pills (1000mg) 1 hour before eating or 2 hour after eating.

actually, you technically can take it with food, but it is trickier to work out the dose

Islandboy, what dosage of Zytiga are you taking?

I got it wrong. I was told to take the prednisone with food then asked if I could take them together.

I see now that I should take the abiraterone before food.

I am taking 1000mg of abiraterone and 10mg of prednisone.

I just started yesterday and was confused as usual.

hi! My father was just prescribed these same doses. His abiratone is costing out to 600$ a month so he isn’t picking up his prescription. Wondering if you found anything cheaper?

you can take Zytiga with food, but the disage is different. We were told to take it in an empty stomach because it is easier to work out the dose, but you can reduce the quantity of Zytiga if you have it with food, so I wish someone would change the rules!

i downloaded the recipe. sounds perfect for the morning with the OJ etc. I am starting chemo soon and expect that I will be a mess. I am also probably going to do RSO concurrently, why not wake up with a nice cool drinkie? Of maybe have a pitcher next to the bed.
