How long does it take for xtandi to get out of your system? How long does it take for the side effect to stop. I started have headaches and blood pressure problems. My cardiologist give me additional meds for my BP, one of the side effects is headaches. I’m wondering if the headaches are from the xtandi or the BP pills. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

xtandi and side
Between treatments my MO calls for a 4 week flush-out period at end of xtandi.
Shooter, so every 4 weeks you stop for how long?
Oh yes I understand for a 4 week break..sorry, I read that too quickly.
After 2 weeks I couldn't handle it.....I'm 49, zapped all the physical grunt I used to have, started effecting sleep, then no sleep!!! Had muscle twitching through night, I started, tittering and stammering(mentally reaching for correct words to say in sentences)
Shuffling, unreasonable FEAR, had a daily headache in rear base of skull area(I had cut all caffeine so wondered if it was that headache???but usually I get it in front bit of skull!!!)
I came off after 2.5 weeks.
I'm only just feeling like mys self now,
That's been 2 weeks!!!!
It gets into system
Chemist has said give it 3 weeks....
Now they want try applutimide......
Here we go again????
I’m sorry you are having problems, I’m going to be one of your followers. You have no info in your bio.
Hi, did you start with the full dose? I have read it can be effective with just a small dose to start? I’m sorry you have gone through this!
HiTHIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
PLEASE REMEMBER EVERY ONE IS DIFFERENT AND DO NOT LET IT PUT US OF TRYING RECOMENDED MEDICATIONS.
Started on the recommended dose of 4 tablets.
Took them night,
Then morning to see if changed times of side effects.
was told these meds just build up in the system any way? So???
There's always other tablets to counter the effects.......
I'm just trying find what I can accept for my self going forward?
I.e qualities of life compared to side effects?
MrT, thank you! Keep posting, as this is so important for all of us. I am uncomfortable with members mocking other members for the path they have taken in fighting this horrible disease that never forgives and never lets you waste a second of time. It ticks over us all, like the Sword of Damocles! We have taken a more integrated natural and traditional route.
