Has any one have their psa done at sloan, if so what is the reference range, for ultrasesative always had mine at quest or labcorp what does<meaning sign...

The symbol < means "less than"

The minimum they report is less than .05(<.05)They consider that undetectable

They don't do ultra sensitive levels. Ultra sensitive testing is considered noise to some as it provides no diagnostic significance, ie, actionable. So they test to detectable levels as noted and only show if below as being (<0.05ng).

If you want ultra-sensitive PSA testing you could do it on your own and track it yourself. Some states, like NY, restrict that though... Which I'll never understand! But then you'd just need your doctor to provide a script for it and then go to a lab, etc.

Thank you ,went to sloan first time it came back <0.05 from 0.1 had recurrance 3 years ago
