They were hoping to start my dad on the new PSMA treatment, but they believe that his cancer caused disseminated intravascular coagulation (dic) which dropped his blood values in a way that makes him ineligible currently.
He had done Docetaxel, Arbiratarone, clinical trail combo, Cabaziotaxal/immunotherapy/study drug, Zytiga and now retrying Docetaxel (had one dose while in hospital for dic). Doctor indicated that PSMA treatment was the last conventional option available to my dad.
Curious if anyone else had dic and how long it took to resolve and any other treatment options.
