Have any of you troopers tried a penile clamp for incontinence due to RP and or radiation? If so are you satisfied with its performance?

Penile clamp
My husband used them for several years and had no difficulties with them. We have two brand new ones maybe can work out a deal.
The ones he liked are called Bard Cunningham and there are a few sizes. He tried some others he didn’t care for.
His first one was a sample from his urology office.
I am using penile clamp for my total urinary incontinence since 2016. I am quite happy with it. But I don't use it when I sleep or sitting for long time. Whenever I stand up, walk or go outside my home or travel I use them.
I didn’t like the clamp at all. I’m very active and it was very uncomfortable when exercising. I have a AUS which works great for me, but some are adverse to the surgery and the need to eventually replace it, which I understand. Its performance is without parallel for extreme cases though.
A sling also works for some, but for not the level of incontinence I had. In fact, I can’t identify with the description of dress 2544’s condition in the above reply as ‘total’ urinary incontinence. I was not able to sit, lie down or anything else without significant leakage, even if less than when mobile.
Perhaps there are different interpretations of ‘total’ here.
Thanks. As I said I’m scheduled for AUS but will try the clamp to see if it works. My incontinence happens pretty much all the time but surges with activity . Interestingly it isn’t much of a problem at night when sleeping. I use a maximum brief with a maximum pad inside all the time and it’s barely wet when I wake up. I also have penile bleeding off and on .
That should be great for your Johnson, Johnson😀
It's typical to be dry when lying down/sleeping Break60. The bleeding isn't. I would get that checked out.
As for the incontinence itself, just be honest with yourself about how much of this you want to endure. As you already know, it starts to wear on you a bit.
I keep text files of some of my comments so that I can easily share my experience again. Below is about using a clamp and which clamp
Update June 7, 2022. I used the clamp for months 4 and 5 (Jan - Feb 2021) after RALP in Sept 2020
I used the Lunderg Confidence Clamp for a few months - I just needed relief to get from home to doctor appointments without soaking a pad every time I got out of my car.

The Lunderg is out of stock. I recommend trying the Wiesner Incontinence Clamp ($35 on Amazon 6/7/2022). It has different size bottom pads to control the pressure on the urethral and not the whole penis.
Both Lunderg Confidence Clamp and Wiesner Incontinence Clamp have 3 sizes bottom pads with a dimple that presses on the urethra to stop urine flow. The top pad does NOT have a dimple. Both use medical grade silicone rubber to cover the bottom and top pads.
It states to release and readjust every 1-2 hours and NOT for overnight use.
I started out wearing the clamp for a few hours a day and added time before using the clamp outside of the house. I wanted to determine correct bottom pad size; pressure (4 locking positions); and how it felt sitting, standing, and walking.
Watched the pressure - I use "for Small" bottom clamp and click it in the second hole. I am able to press on the head of my privates and the skin discolors and recolors appropriately. Not to tight to cut off circulation, but has been doing the job.
6/7/2022 Lunderg Clamp out of stock - I suggest trying the Wiesner Incontinence Clamp which is very similar with the different size bottom pads.

My husband did not like the Wiesner clamp. He could run the other one with one hand. Weisner took two hands.
