Nurse from URO called late Friday an told me my xtandi would have no cost, you may ask how. We live only on SSI, everything is paid for. I told the nurse that I had retirement accounts but didn’t need the money and have not with drawn any. She told me that was much better. We have no taxable income, hopefully we can keep it the same next year.
Now xtandi guys when is the best time too take the pills, do you take with food or without. Your input will be very helpful.

I am in the same scenario ( free) I take mine at 6pm with or without food for 2 yrs now . Works for me. I also take my blood pressure pill and a 5mg melatonin and a shot of ZZZ to sleep 5 hrs later. It has worked for me at keeping me undetectable . Give it to the Lord and pray for the best. Good luck
Hello, I have been on Xtandi (enzalutamide) for nearly five years. It does cause fatigue so I have been taking the four pills at night just before bedtime. Other than waking up a couple of times every night to pee, I sleep soundly.
Hello, As I am too. I have been on Zoladex (goserelin) for eight of the nine years I have been battling this damn disease. One year on Firmagon (degarelix).
Hi Echotango51, I have been on Xtandi for about 2 years. I take four pills at nights because one of the side effects of Xtandi is fatigue. I take the pills without food. The fatigue was so much that just two weeks ago, my MO said I can reduce the dosage to two pills a night. He said that I should report back to him in 8 weeks for follow up. So, I hope that this helps you. Good luck.
Thanks for your Information and question. I am just starting Xtandi this evening. I have been on lupron and casedex since March 2021, and have been thru chemo. I am hoping I do not have a lot more fatigue than I already have and hopefully It can keep me undetectable for a long time. I have been giving the battle to the lord as I go on this journey.
Been on Lupron & Apalutamide for 1.5 months, & although I can take it with or without food, I too take it at 7pm, incase I have fatigue, which so far I have not noticed.
