Had first shot of lupron of 22.5 mg on March 29.
PSA has been 835, 449, 117 and 18.4. I was hoping it would continue dropping but last weeks blood results has PSA now at 19.04.
Any ideas why it’s bumped up instead of down?

18.4, unless you omitted a 0 is reported to a single decimal place. 19.04 is reported to two. There is a possibility that different test were used.
Time for both Zytiga and docetaxel:
Don't worry until you have a clear trend of ascending values.
I'm not sure I would worry yet. See what the next PSA reading is. If the next PSA is up again then it might be time to discuss moving to a new treatment, i.e Zytiga.
I found having a blood test at different places gave different readings. Anything from 1 to 2 points.
If you're getting tested every week and the values are that close to each other I'd wait a couple more weeks at least before becoming alarmed.
I had heard here on this site from another patient that the slower, the psa goes down, the better prognosis
FYII have been on Lupron for almost 10 years with 3 vacations, the last one being about 5 years ago. During the periods that I was NOT on a vacation, and was on Lupron, I was on-and-off the Zytiga 1 or 2 times. I went back on Zytiga about 3 years ago. It always seemed to be effective for me when I was on it, even when I resumed taking it.
Did you have extensive mets?
I was never clear on the exact number of mets I had at dx. I know I had a large bone met in my left acetabulum (hip) and 1-2 in my vertebre, along with 1-2 in my ribs. I also had one "dirty" lymph node among the 30+ removed from my stomach area when they did my extended prostate removal surgery. To this day, I don't know if I had 3,4 or 5 bone mets, in addition to the "dirty" lymph node. I haven't acquired any new mets, but the aceatulum seems to be "acting up" so the plan is to radiate it and hope it solves the problem of my rising PSA, at least, for a while.
