If you're being treated at a comprehensive cancer care center, they may be able to give you a referral. I don't see what country you live in; so not sure what resources might be available.
Yes as Javelin18 said we don't know your location but in the U.S. the social worker(s) at the hospital are great help and a starting point to set you up with the therapy you are interested in. The social workers perform a great service in many aspects of what we face working to get us to the care or the information we need.
If you can't find resources at your treatment center there are plenty available on line
Kudos to you both for having the caring and the courage to seek out a good counselor to help you protect your loving relationship at this time. Fighting cancer takes a toll on our relationships in one way or another.
Boy does it! Are you back ?
Greetings heatherkara,
Would you please be kind enough to tell us his bio. Age? Location? When Treatment(s)? Treatment center(s)? Scores Psa/Gleason? Medications? Doctor's name(s)?
ALL INFO IS VOLUNTARY, but it helps us help him and helps us too. When you respond, you might want to copy and paste it in your/his home page for your/his use and for other members’ reference.
Note: Answers are for your/his benefit, not mine.
THANK YOU AND KEEP POSTING!!!
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Our Couples counselor has saved us; we found her at the Cancer Center (MSK). If your hospital doesn't have Support Services, I'd suggest contacting CancerCare. Such a difficult time for both the PC patient as well as his caregiver!
We had challenges finding this help even in a major metro area. The SW at our hospital told us to “just join a support group” which may be helpful but isn’t a substitute. We found a small private pay practice. Many academic articles have been published in recent years about this need, and psychological and social support was mentioned as a critical part of a PCa team at the recent conference in New Orleans, but it is lacking in real life experience.
