On 3/12/2021, this paper was published in the National Center for Biotechology Information. It is worth considering carefully following BCR.

They used photons to treat pelvic lymph nodes anyway (they only used protons for the prostate bed).

They don't report Grade 2 GU toxicity, which is always the largest. I hate it when they obviously hide data (they report Grade 2 GI toxicity only). Otherwise, very similar outcomes to photons, once again proving there is no advantage to protons.

Thanks for posting.

HI TA, Hmmm, did someone at a PBT center run over your dog? It is difficult to put much stock in such continual negative observations contrary to the ever improving technology, but have at it. Enjoy your private battle.

LOL. No evidence yet that it is any better or worse than photons - but they charge a lot more. If you think my observation about the study is flawed, show me the flaw. Let's stick to evidence and avoid ad hominem comments.

TA,

I'm not going to debate the pros and cons of published artitcles with you. To me, it became apparent awhile ago that you dislike PBT for PCa treatment having drawn your own conclusions. I do not have the expertise nor the time to spend analyzing published medical papers. I'm making my decisions about my treatments, and I want other guys to know the information that I've discover during my investigations and let them make their own decisions too. We're all grown-ups and on our own out there. Keep smiling.

What "became apparent" to you has no basis in fact. I suggest you stick to discussing what I actually wrote instead of your wild guesses (which are wrong) about my intentions . You've clearly swallowed the Kool-Aid and seem incapable of discussing this subject on its merits. If you don't have the "time or expertise" to analyze published medical papers, why on earth would you argue against my analysis?

TA, I did not argue with anything you said. I simply said I didn’t want to engage with you because from my own observations you are personally bias against PBT. Other gents have noticed this failure too, so it does no one any good to try and discuss PBT logically with you. You prefer your fight mode. I’m not getting in your ring with you. Have a nice time.

I am eager to get at the truth. You clearly are not. If evidence-based medicine is unimportant to you, why post evidence that you erroneously considered proved your case?

TA, Keep slugging………post anything about PBT and here comes ole TA with his complaints ready to fight about it. It’s just a matter of minutes normally until you surface. So predictable, and very silly.

Me, it’s rope-a-dope time. Good night.

You woke up on the wrong side of the bed. TA is an expert and we are lucky to have him here!

Totally agree with you, Rocket.

Hi Rocket09,

I agree that TA is one of many self-taught PCa experts that folks have on HU and other patient portals, and he is one of the most informed and helpful But, if you read through the posted exchange, I think you'll conclude that it wasn't me whom got testy. I simply told TA that I didn't want to engage with him, and the exchange went downhill from that point. I know that I'll get over myself, and I hope TA will too.

So Paddy says to Mike, "is this a private fight or can anyone join?"

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
