Help for stomach upsets

I was diagnosed with PC in November 2020. PSA of 10.1 and Gleeson 4+3.

From PSMA scan found to have metastasised to ribs, skull, pelvic bone, hip. I am on Aberaterone and prednisol. I also have a long standing blood cancer (Essential Thrombocythemia) for which I take Hydroxicarbamide.

PSA now <0.1.

I have been getting a number of upset stomachs and diarrhoea. Lasts a couple of days and then ok for a week or so. My diet is ok, plenty of fresh fruit and veg, porridge etc, but I do have take outs/processed food a couple of times a week.

Does anyone have any thoughts?:

1. Is this a likely side effect of the medication?

2. Any practical thoughts on remedies or supplements? I am not going to enter dietary martyrdom (see Billy Connolly's thoughts on winning a couple of extra weeks to your life - never when you are 37 and having a great time, but at the end when you are poorly anyway. He says it more graphically!). Probiotics have never treated me kindly, but probably not had the right sort, so welcome expert ideas.

Thanks for any help

Stephen
