Did anyone have research on continuing with xgeva (or another bone strengthening drug) when you are on a Lu-177 clinical trial?

I will comment on this now and, Ramp7 ..)) At the center of excellence, where I was treated with a PSMA ligand labeled with Lu and AC isotopes - the requirement to cancel any anti-bone resorption drugs at least two weeks before the start of treatment! I haven't found the reason for this ban yet.. But here's what I found in Novartis: "Patients must be stable on a bisphosphonate or denosumab regimen for ≥15 days prior to anticipated C1D1 date of receiving 225Ac-PSMA-617 are eligible."

Unclear. Half-life of denosumab is 28 days. So 15 days seems a token to the uncertainty of whether or not RANKL inhibition may or may not interfere with the uptake and binding of the radioligand to PSMA in bone Mets. Personally, I would skip the bone drug for a couple of months before the treatment unless the bones were very fragile and at high risk.
