It is with a very heavy heart that I write that I lost my best friend , husband father grandfather and friend to many, this week to this monster disease.
I have followed this site earnestly, albeit have not contributed much.
Thank you to all you warriors, there were many nights I would stay up and read about your lives and treatments, successes and failures.
The courage you display has kept me positive. I’m afraid his time ran out after a big fight.
My heart is broken, feels almost surreal

So heartbreaking. I can’t imagine how you must feel right now. Truly must feel surreal as you said. Please know that although we are scattered around the world, we are connected with one heart. We care for each other and when one suffers we all do to some extent. Love and peace to you and your family.

Please now take good care of your self in the coming weeks and months; it’s very important that you show the same level of devotion now to your self as you did your husband. You deserve no less.

My wife and I offer our sincere condolences. I am both an individual with cancer and a caregiver to my love who has cancer. Your expressions of love are music to my ears. I know how that support and adoration for your husband was immeasurable for him to know and palpable to feel. Praying for God’s peace which passes all understanding for you and your family.

Sounds like hubby had a wonderful loving caregiver , he was so lucky to have you Bebby . I wish you the best moving forward, that your grief will subside quickly and your new changed world will be a bright new horizon for you.
Care for yourself now. You will never forget and there is no getting over "it" but with time the rawness of the pain recedes and we "learn to live with the loss" and be grateful that we shared life with the one we miss.
Family, friends and clergy can be helpful and--sometimes not! There will be times when you need to be alone. That is natural.
One again, I feel a personal loss as one of my aPca brothers passes. I know he fought it and I am fighting. I have recently entered the painful part of this darned disease as I start my 5th year. Life Is Good and death is part of it. We accept this but still hate to see a brother leave. Rest in peace.
Sorry to hear about your loss! All is not over yet and hope is in the 1st ressurection(John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:6) where those sleeping in the grave are raised first, then the living raise to meet them in the clouds, and finally together they meet our Savior in the air. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). Then the promise of Christ to take us to our heavenly homes he as been preparing for the faithful, in His Father's heaven will finally be realized. (John 14:1-3). Never to suffer sadness, disease, pain or any evil ever again!( Revelation 21:4). Sadness is only banished after the 2nd Ressurection of the lost(Revelation 20:5,7), and the final phase of judgment where they ratify God's judgment concerning their cases and further demonstrate their rebellion by attacking the Holy City. Never give up! We will be reunited!
Well I never met your dear husband but I know I will sometime in the near future. Hopefully I can make him laugh as we talk about our trials and tribulations here on Earth. We will exchange the feelings about how devoted our loved ones are and how we miss them. I have a strong feeling that he was an avid domino player as well as card playing and we will spend our peaceful time beating each other. I send you, your children, grandchildren, family and friends my deepest heartfelt condolences. God Bless you all.....Time heals all wounds...
I of course am very sorry for your loss but also very touched by you as well. Your words are really kind and geared towards us (feel our fear, respect our courage). Thank you so much. I hope you will soon heal from this and remember the good times, the good memories, how he looked before the end came. All that. I say that because from my experience for a time after passing my mind only see's the image of my loved family member as they appeared in the last hours. This will pass.
My wife especially and me as well look for those signs in loved ones that have passed. There is no proof but we wholly entertain those thoughts. I'm with you there.
My father appeared to me in dream 3 months after he passed from the heart after an RP and adt .24 yrs ago .He was cloaked in white ,beard and hair too . He said. “ I am alright” This has put me at peace ever since . My your dreams shed light and hope .. The Cherokee believe that the spirit stays around for a yr if it’s happy and only longer if in turmoil . For all advanced prostate families the end to pain and suffering on earth is a win . When the pain gets too great we all will submit to Gods mercy . Prayers and love to you in this transition . You are not alone .. 💔🙏😔
