Yay, glad that it arrived so quickly and that page was a compilation of song lyrics and quotes that I sent with those who wanted a St Peregrine Prayer Card.
I shoulda printed it on light blue paper😂
Please take a pic and I wanna send it to my Ventura Vendor
Dawn, that was a beautiful tribute to your Dad. I can tell from that picture he was a champ, and so are you. Loved that line ”someday is now”! May he RIP and God bless your family!
I am so sorry 💔 sending prayers to you and your family and wishing you a positive journey towards healing. Your dad looks like he lived a long beautiful life! May he rest in peace 🙏🏻
So very sorry to hear that your beloved Dad has passed. He looks like a lovely Man. I lost my Mum earlier this year, she was also 88years, although she did not pass from Cancer. I miss her everyday.
Sending hugs and condolences to you and your family.
To you and all the members of your wonderful family, your memories will be your strength. Love never dies.
There will be times when you will need each other. Sometimes friends or clergy--and sometimes we are best served by being alone with our memories.
We learn to live with a loss. It will never "heal". We never "get over it". Appreciating the time of a shared life with someone as special as your father can be bittersweet when death separates us. Myself, I would never trade the time shared with some in who have been in my life for the pain that their death caused. It is a bad bargain, but I take it willingly.
Be strong when you need to be. Grieve when you have to.
I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad, Dawn. He fought bravely for 17 years. He is proud of you for the way you expressed your love in your eulogy. May God bless.
I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dad, but heartened you got to hold his hand on his last day and tell him you loved him and you both shed tears of love and sadness.
His great memories and drive will live on through all his children and grand children.
Make sure you tell him to put a a special bell on those gates for cancer warriors to ring when it's our time so he can guide us through.
What a moving Eulogy! Both you and your father were lucky to have each other.....live the rest of your life like your father advised, as should the rest of us.
He was obviously a fighter. Sorry for your loss but as my father said, he is no longer in pain or suffering from when will it end scenarios. Don't know our religious heritage but as a Christian, he is in a much better place now.
Look forward to it! You are encouraging and inspiring. You also remind me of my father. He lived on Molokai for 17 years. He was a happy, wonderful man. He moved back to the mainland in 2004. Lost him 11 years ago to Glioblastoma, but he stayed with me and had the most positive attitude to the end.
Good morning and Happy Caturday😁 Gon head up to Ventura around 1pm, when I break fast, I do 16 hr fasting from 9pm to 1pm the next day.
I'm meeting a vendor up there who I had make up something for PCa awareness month. Her booth is on the bike path where the Memorial Planter is located venturabreeze.com/2022/05/1...
