Innumerable hepatic metastasis!

Just finished jevtana and carboplatin in sept. Was feeling good until a couple of weeks ago. Had mri yesterday which read innumerable hepatic metastasis! I’m BRCA2 haven’t been on parp inhibitor yet. Will it even help at this point???

Here we have seen some really good results with PARP inhibitors especially in the heavily loaded cancer guys.. Weird, you would think the lower loaded guys would do better. Give them a try. You might just be in the 50% or so of folks they really help.... Best of luck to you. Life Is Good, but short if you give up....Doug

Also BRCA2+. Was on Olaparib for 2 years after Zytiga failure for 6 months, which kept my PSA undetectable for 20 months before it ran it's course. Also had Provenge at the time I started Olaparib. Hitting it hard.

Been on Lynparza. While it hasn’t lowered my PSA much it has stopped all bone met progression. Side effects haven’t been bad. Go for it.
