Update on Lu177 mixed result

A further update the mixed Lu177 result that I reported a couple of weeks ago.... The physician in Munich says that they do sometimes see "divergent" results where the lymph nodes respond but bone mets do not. This is despite the lymph and bone mets all being PSMA avid and, he says the PSMA is adhering on all the lesions. They think AC255 might work but will only offer it after I "exhaust other approved drugs given the significant side effects". My next step is a cervical spine MRI to see if there is any possible impingement on the spinal cord in which case it will require radiation. Then it looks like Jevtana + Carboplatin. I'm really not looking forward to more numbness in my feet.

If your bone marrow is still healthy (=good blood work) and no visceral metastases, is Xofigo a possibility?

I believe it is a possibility however the oncologist said chemo is the usual next step. Nothing final decided yet. Things move slowly in medical appointment land - I hope the cancer knows that.

Please look at the section on "Chemotherapy" in the article about Xofigo below:

Combining them should be done in one of the clinical trials because blood work has to be monitored closely.

Is it an Australian Cattle dog? Beautiful. A friend had one. We have a Border Collie, red merle. She insists on hikes each morning in the woods. She and the Docs are keeping me alive. I hope to be invited to participate in a Lu-PSMA-617 trial very soon.

Yes, she’s an ACD. My plan was to outlive her - not so sure these days. Good luck with the Lu177 - it can be great for some people.

She looks ready with those ears fully erect listening for "time for walkies"

She absolutely loves hiking in the snow. Unfortunately for her, we’re in FL this winter.
