So does this mean that those of us on ADT do in fact have greater resistance to Covid?

I'd love to know more too, are you taking this drug? or some other types like zoladex or others?

Burk profile image
Burk in reply toharleyharhar

No, I'm on Lupron. I'm just curious about the effect of ADT on Covid. I had Covid last year in August before going on ADT. I have natural immunity and I have no intention of getting the jab.

Thanks a lot for the reply, me and my parents dont want the jab either but of course we are very interested in old drugs that might work against the virus, my father is on zoladex by the way

You should do some research into whether immunity to Covid is acquired by having the one variation of the virus that you caught.

How will you know when they won't even publish the results of those who have had the virus and have antibodies, whether or not, or their level of protection... All done to empower and reinforce the vaccination mandates! Big $$$ Pharma at your service!!!

Not saying vaccinations aren't effective or good, I'm 3x in... But there is an obvious and ridiculous agenda afoot. Everyone a year ago shouting follow the science and now silent... Even with the approaching approval for 5-11 year olds here in the U.S., go ahead and try to find the data supporting the decision!

Crickets!

So on the fringe, you're not going to hear, read or learn much about alternative results. Just all my opinion... and an unfortunate complicity by the medical community in the entire situation.

/end rant...

The enormous reduction in severe cases, hospitalization and death in the vaccinated vs unvaccinated is thoroughly documented and published. Casting doubt about that is a disservice. Natural immunity from having the infection is great protection, but for an uncertain time. Repeat cases occur, occasionally as early as three months. As long as there is community spread there is genetic variation and eventually new variants. And as symptomatic cases often spread it to others including to loved ones. For these reasons vaccine immunity is better than natural from having COVID.

I'm sorry... But to quote you...

"casting doubt about that is a disservice"

Why, because I disagree with the selective release of information from the scientific community based upon a political agenda? Because there's no other logical explanation as to why it's not even dicussed or identified openly. Anyways...

Ok, then provide a link to information regarding those with the antibody and it's efficacy against reinfection? Not just words... The actual science behind the statement you wish to promulgate as fact. I can't find any, maybe you know where it is...

I'm well aware of the vaccinated rates and efficacy. That's not what I said though is it... The attempt to dissuade questioning those who withhold such data or if the examination of this fact has even taken place is not a disservice, not in my opinion.

In the absence of such data, your assumption that vaccination is "better" is unfounded. The only thing it is, in all actuality is "quicker". But there is an entire segment of the populace that is being ignored and otherwise forced into compliance with whims and demands.

I appreciate your indulgence.

Thank you. I appreciate and respect your viewpoint. And I agree that the public voice of the government, most especially the CDC has been political, poorly informed with the science and mostly wrong. It was from the beginning. ( Read Michael Lewis’s “Premonition “). And remains so, ignoring and countering the science. Such as denying the Pfizer warnings of waning immunity after six months, and denying all of the studies demonstrating efficacy of ivermectin to reduce duration and severity of symptoms, to name just two examples. But the real science published every week in peer reviewed journals from credible institutions around the world have been pouring forth every week. The NEJM is one in my mailbox every week. Three articles in today’s edition for example include a new early treatment (Sotrovimab), Waning immunity after vaccination in Israel, and adverse effects after BioNTech vaccine following COVID-19 infection.

PubMed or Medline are much better for getting at the published science than Dr Google . Not perfect but better, with much less political or conspiracy spin. Best regards, paul

Thank you for that, and yes we do agree in those points. I'm very interested in the immunity efficacy of those previously infected. If you do run across anything, feel free to share ;)

👍

Now that is truly a disservice to the populace in either event, not publicizing whether it be beneficial to have antibodies or that they're not effective against the virus at all or with such low efficacy, that it be ignored.

Either way, that information, that science provides a social/public benefit. One is that if you have natural immunities, great, and if you do but still need to vaccine to be protected, great as well. The obfuscation of this end of the entire pandemic is problematic indeed.

Best Regards as well...

natural immunity is far better against all the variants than the jab, and longer lasting. We can not keep getting the jab every six months.

Many flu vaccines are made by growing the viruses inside fertilized chicken eggs. This means that they contain a small amount of egg protein.

Hmmmm. You might be onto something lol. Although Balut is not on my menu. Thanks anyway. Ha.

Could be the egg is still on its way and the chicken simply laid one in transit.
