Hi

After 3 yrs my psa is 0.02 ng/ml.

I have stopped Lucrin since 2020 Sept.

At that time during treatment my t level was 0.03ng/ml .Now my T level is 2.36ng/ml.

I am worried due to my understanding T is one of the fuel for pca cells.

How do i control my T level to a safe limit.

Tq

Henry

There's nothing in your profile, but you are posting on a site for men with advanced PCa. If that is an error, and you were curatively treated, your increased T is a healthy response. If you indeed have advanced prostate cancer, and you have been diagnosed with metastases, and you only took a vacation from Lucrin, you can wait to resume it until your PSA goes up.

I was diagnosed with bph and pca but the pca only spread to the svc.

I did a turp for my prostate and later rt and lucrin..

My psa before treatment was only 3.3 ng ml and the urologist/onco told me its a localised pca but spread only to the surface of the svc .

A tumour was observed as shown in the mri before treatment.

I am also worried about the tumour.

Ypur kind advice is appreciated

Henry

So you had localized PCa, which was cured by radiation and hormone therapy. Your testosterone is supposed to reeturn to normal levels after you are cured. This is something to be happy about.

Thanks Nal for that info. I will be on ADT for another ten months. I am trying to learn what to do after ADT. I do not feel comfortable with the "wait and see" stance that so many take. Where can I find more info on monitoring T, DHT, & E2 after ADT? Can you recommend a health practitioner who can provide guidance for this?
