New Game plan

Thanks to all of you for your feedback, based on what I learned from this group I have a better understanding of what I need to do for a favorable outcome to the Oligometastatic disease I have been confronted with.

Plan is to get PSMA scan and use aggressive radiation, including SBRT if needed, as well as IMRT in conjunction with Eligard and Zytiga to attack the spots that show up when they are small and not to let them have a chance to grow or spread.

Counter attack when cancer is still weak with everything at my disposal.

Thanks my brothers

Keep posting. We are indeed your brothers. Given your deep investigation, we'll learn much from your outcomes.

It’s a sound plan . It’s Similar to what has worked for me. There is nothing pretty or nice about this manhood sucking disease. Live healthier than ever before. Cut out stress. 🙏

Thats what I did. Based on what others on the forum have done, I call it the kitchen sink approach. Last Saturday was was my 2 year mark for ADT so I stopped everything to see if the treatment with "curative intent" cured me. Its a long shot but only time will tell. A long remission would be great as well. I feel great and have stayed active the whole time, in fact I increased my bike riding distance and frequency after dx. TA once said to me it often comes down to luck and after 2 years I think I agree.

680 days to go and I will be where you are.Do you plan to use any supplements or alternative ideas while on your post ADT vacation?

I am on a few supplements now but not sure if I will expand on that or not. Right now I need to get off the Pred and I suspect that could take a month. If covid lightens up I may start acupuncture again. I will stick with my plant focused diet and keep up my level of exercise and hope to increase next spring with some T. My last test was <1. I will get a new baseline in Dec if PSA has remains low. One day at a time for me, staying in the present has become very important. I hope all goes your way with response to treatments. I didn't find the forum until I had made all my treatment decisions. Not sure I would have done anything different if I had found it earlier but still wish I had. I have learned so much here that it has made things much easier. Your already luckier than me that way as you found it early. Let us know how things go.

Go for it. Will probably do my first ride in the rain this weekend.

From my NJ days back north I preferred NEW SNOW to rain. Quieter and not as wet just cold.

Yeah new snow is nice especially if I am riding when it starts, but once it turns to ice I stay off. Luckily the longest time I have had off my bike in winter due to ice so far was 2 weeks.

You might miss something, change your lifestyle, control your diet, exercise more and take some supplements.

I did all of the above when first DX of PSA 6 and Gleason 3+3=6 back in 2014
