Hubs had RARP 2014; IMRT & ADT 2016 for recurrence. He's now experiencing low but increasing (doubling) PSA. Simultaneously, having second bout of radiation cystitis, using Foley to dilate urethra. But blood clots are being produced. Just wondering if that sloughed off tissue (from bladder/urethra) could be biopsied for PCa?

PSA is in the serum. As for PCa, it is unlikely that they will find any in the blood clots and sloughed benign tissue.
Thank you, TA! Clearly, I don't understand. So it's benign areas damaged by the radiation that don't completely heal. . .
Since he has a prostatectomy, the prostatic urethra is gone, I doubt any PC could be present in the blood clots or tissue coming from the bladder.
