Abbreviations

As a new prostate cancer patient and a newbie on here, I have a question: is there some kind of an abbreviation list for referencing all that is being used on here, or are we left to our own devices to try to figure them out?

I had the same experience - especially with those that are not on the list. But really guys - when abbreviations make your post more difficult to read then they are counter productive, so it would be nice if they were used a little more sparingly!!
