Can someone tell me the impact of Biotin on PSA? (My last PSA results include a comment that Biotin could lower my PSA. Did not say how much.)

Biotin's Affect on PSA Results
The effect is indeterminable. You should not be taking biotin or a lot of other supplements that mask PSA:
Some will say that we should avoid all supplements, since they do nothing but harm. But I just want to point out a couple of things about biotin.
It is, of course, a vitamin. Should we avoid food that contains it, 48 hours or longer before a PSA blood draw? I defy anyone to accuratey state how much was in their last meal.
Almonds have 4.4 (μg / 100 g); eggs have 21 (μg / 100 g); chicken liver has 187 (μg / 100 g), but it is in almost everything we eat. Do we even need to supplement?
Alcohol & certain drugs deplete it.
The biotin problem is a blood test problem - tests that use biotin-streptavidin technology.
Perhaps we should test biotin levels at the same time as PSA.

They really do not know as much as it might appear so I believe it to be a toss up. They don't know much about what biotin actually does.
Been taking biotin since Dx and the only thing I can say about it is my nails grow faster and stronger.
