Good morning everyone. I’m now halfway through the 6 month cycle. For the last 2 months I’ve had to get a booster shot for my white blood count being low. The ANC drops below 1.5 and I have antibiotics in case of a fever. Thankfully that hasn’t happened. Of course the shot does have a side effect of increased bone pain. That just makes me laugh, with bone METS already it seems like everything gives you increased bone pain. On a positive note my ALP is down to 56 so hopefully the Radium is working. I have always loved garlic but the smell of almost turns my stomach and if I eat something I can’t get the taste out of my mouth for hours. These are minor things to live with if the drugs are killing the cancer. I hope you all have a great Saturday. You and your families remain part of my prayers. I’m grateful to all of you who post about your journey in this fight. Keep your chin up we can all go another round.

Hang in there.
Anti-inflammatories may relieve the bone pain.
I have heard Claritin helps with the bone pain. I suffered much from bone pain but wasn't on this site yet, so did not get information until it was finally over. I'm sure someone will chime in.
