Gleason 4+3, PSA 7.8, T2C M59 (my father).
Looking for different ways to treat his prostate cancer including non-orthodox like Fenbendazole and metformin.
What evidence we have as of 2021 to efficacy of these treatments?
Even if anecdotal?

There is no clinical info on fenbendazol. Here’s what we have so far on metformin:
Metformin is generally good for you and has no material down sides.
Dr. Myers considered it to be indirectly helpful for prostate cancer patients.
I’ve been taking metformin per Snuffy Myers since 2014, I believe it’s helped me maintain a normal BMI despite being on ADT the entire time and I’m still here despite my dx. So I continue to take it along with ADT meds, if it works don’t fix it.

metformin is used by type 2 diabetic patients. I t was found in a study that patients who took metformin for diabetes were less likely to get cancer. There is a metabolic theory for cancer. this association could be related to that relationship. Excess sugar...glucose in the blood can support cancer but its not that sugar that the theory is referring to. Cancer is dependent on fermented sugar. Somehow Metformin must be a protagonist for that sugar. But Sloan Kettering is not clear that they approve of its use and if a person already has cancer it may not be effective at all. I dont trust it. I am using Bicalcin
