Is that a clinical trial?

no . I did the Foundation where I spent $3500.00 for them to analyze my tumor to see if it had a Brcc gene so I could use immunotherapy for my cancer . Oncologist at the James cancer center it came back positive for that genetics . But I'm a chemotherapy doctor been doing this for 20 years we're doing chemo. Went back to the VA and asked if I could come back for treatment here again . The oncologist pharmacist said yes then she found two treatments I was approved for the first was Olaparib Lynparsa . the second if that doesn't work was a IV medicine not a infusion . So I have been on Lynparsa for 2 weeks plus ondansetron for nausea . And I get a call from the schedular at the VA and Dr. Zhang wants me to schedule a chemotherapy infusion . I told her no thanks and hung up the phone . Dr. Zhang is my medical oncologist at the VA actually the only oncologist at the VA medical center in Columbus , Ohio . I get my Eligard shot every 3 months for 3 years now . Before I got intermittent ADT .anyway Dr. Zhang didn't want to hear about any immunotherapy and discourage the oncologist pharmacist from getting it approved . Any when she came back in the room with us he said to her it wasn't approved right . When she said yes he turned back to me and said you shouldld go back to Dr. Monk at the James and do Chemotherapy like he said . Anyway I need a doctor I can go see and pay for advice and get a psma scan and monitor my treatment with Lynparsa . I was going to U of M in Ann Arbor for the psma scan and then down to Dr. Dattoli in Sarasota for a radiation he uses to boost my immune system . But he closed when a foreign hacker closed his whole facility down unless he paid the ransom of millions . I heard this on the news but never had this happen to one of my doctors . I bought a new suv to travel to Michigan and Florida and now just looking for a specialist close to states outside of Ohio. Thinking about Marina Del Rey is my only choice now with Dr. Scholtz and Lam .

Also BRCA2+. No chemo yet. Was on Olaparib for 2 years, of which PSA undetectable for 21 months before it started to rise. Possibly considering chemo as well as other options.

Thank you , knowing that maybe my cancer can be halted for 2 years gives me hope again . Were you on Lupron or Eligard at the same time with the Olaparib ! Hoping my PSMA scan tells my doctor what is needed for him to be able to do his radiation treatment that enhances my immune system to make the immunotherapy work better !

I have been, and continue to be, on Eligard. Have decided to put off chemo for now (Cabazetaxel and /or Carboplatin), as discussed with my Oncologist. Expect to get into a trial with Tagawa at Weill Cornell, which combines Actinium and Lutecium.

If you are considering Keytruda immunotherapy, keep in mind it can be effective if you are MSI and have a high tumor burden. Your Foundation report will tell you. I have neither.

It is approved for Prostate Cancer

"On May 19, 2020, the Food and Drug Administration approved olaparib (LYNPARZA, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, LP) for adult patients with deleterious or suspected deleterious germline or somatic homologous recombination repair (HRR) gene-mutated metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), who have progressed following prior treatment with enzalutamide or abiraterone."

Here is the info from the FDA:
