Tall-Allen: You seem to believe Axumin/PSMA scans and spot radiation do not delay disease progression. If that's the case, do they have any value at all? Please explain. Thanks.

Axumin/PSMA Scans
No, all I said is there isn’t any good evidence for a survival benefit for metastasis directed radiation. In case there is some benefit, I think it’s a good idea to treat if it’s safe. ADT should never be put off since we know that works.
You seem to be saying that there is **some**, but not compelling evidence? If there is literally NO evidence, then it would be a scam, correct?

I went to that link, which in turn linked me to this very interesting article about the effect of supplements and statins on PSA tests.

You mention not just curcumin, but statins and green tea. "include genistein (a soy isoflavone), EGCG (green tea), resveratrol (grapes), and capsaicin (chili peppers). " saw palmetto, pygeum, and beta-sitosterol. 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors (Proscar and Avodart) " "biotin, in many multivitamin preparations"
WOW!
I think I need to start clearing my system of green tea and statins prior to my PSA tests. I think a fair portion of us are on statins.
Any thoughts or comments?
Direct treatment of metastases in oligo metastatic cancers detected with PSMA PET/CT scans improves progression free survival (delays progression of the cancer).
TA... That is an AWESOME EXCELLENT article and spot on! It collaborates many of my readings and collectively assembled it all in concise and meaningful explanation... How'd you get in my mind! Lol
The forum should have "stickies" and that would most certainly be a candidate for top billing!
Thank you!
