Father dx 2017, Gl 9, T4N1M1, PSA 944. ADT till summer 2020. 4 rounds of Docetaxcel in aug- dec 2020. Dec 2020 started Zytiga. It working pretty well, but we are having some issues with our doctor, hospital burrocracy. So he have just 4 days pills left (with half dose and breakfast already) and it`s looks like we will not get new bottle for few weeks.
Is it bad or maybe even good? like intermittent phase?

We have nothing to report. Doctor didn`t ask for PSA for 3 month. Finaly i could convience him and yesterday he finlay did PSA testing. He feels much better with every month. Looks better, much more energy, positive mood and even started to excercise. He will have scans, analyses and etc next few weeks, but as i understood right they will not give him new dose of Abirateron, before results will came good.
I just hope that PSA is lower that 10 Last time his PSA was lower than 2 about 3 years ago...
Yesterday almost get banned from one group in Facebook after arguıng wıth doctor about PSA. SHe made post when she explain what kind of treatment and when it is better to use. And that they are making changes in treatments afther PSA get more that 2, 5. But why they didn`t say nothing when PSA was around 45 for 2 years for my father? And she reply that it`s for people with "good prognosis", and when PSA at dx is 944 it is "bad prognossis". They just do polliative therapy.
I wondered about Zytiga half life. I forgot to take mine for one day and and was slightly concerned. Couldn't find any "half life" info. Thanks!
Just got the PSA results 80,69. Probably in begining of Dec 2020 it was around 600 probably. Is it good drop in 4 month? I was hoping to see something more near 10-20.
