I just completed day 8 of 38 for SRT Friday, and severe diarrhea has already begun this weekend (I was told that it might hit at week three ...lucky me Any suggestions on how to cope? Diet suggestions? Anything that provides some relief? I won't see the RO until Wed....but have an email in his inbox...as I feel unprepared for the intensity of this so soon. As I understand this...effects will last 6-8 weeks following the last treatment.
Thanks.

I never had severe diarrhea bit I had some midway thru my treatment. My RO simply told me to use a very low dose of Imodium AD as needed and it was effective. Easy fix for me.
I’ve had / have the same thing for different reasons ( intermittent metformin intolerance / poisoning ) .... I find Imodium works well for me. My diarrhea can be explosive and unexpected ...unpredictable. I drive my pickup truck sitting on one of those large contractors garbage bags, carry extra clothes and sanitary supplies and I carry a camping porta potty in the back seat of my truck. If disaster hits I can deploy the potty on the ground outside the truck and I have a privacy curtain I hang that is held by powerful magnets on the doors. I open both opposing doors on the truck, place the potty ( which is always set up to use ) and my wife will hang the curtain between the doors , for privacy. Any port in a storm if you know what I mean.
Dunno if any of this helps but there it is. Hope you get past this sooner than later brother. Been 5 months with mine, not expecting it to stop soon , if ever.
I’m just not going to let a little adversity stop me, especially when time is so precious. Of course Covid has put the brakes on but I can see it changing a lot when you get your shots. Gotta get up and “ go “ while the getting is good ...before it’s too late, no matter what. yayahahahaya. thank you brother ❤️❤️❤️
If you're eating any fruits or vegetables, stop. Eat very small portions and very bland food. It becomes a balancing act between diarrhea and constipation since they seem to want empty bowels and a full bladder before the treatments to avoid damage.
