The "Vision" Lu-177 trial requires at least one PSMA scan which participants frequently must travel to a location that can perform this scan..If any of you have experienced this, please share how this travel was arranged and paid for. Did it go smoothly?

My husband's PSMA scan was done in Houston. It along with several other required scans were done over a 4-5 day period. We flew, and arranged it ourselves along with lodging. We used a suggested hotel that included a shuttle to Excel Diagnostics. They sent us a schedule of appt times and all went smoothly. We later completed reimbursement forms with mileage, hotel receipts, and meals. And have been reimbursed for the initial PSMA testing week and the 4 trips for infusions.

Mine went smoothly. Was paid for by the drug sponsor. Alabma to Houston and back and free for me and my spouse.

Everything was arranged for my husband and myself by the sponsor of the trial. Flights to Houston, transportation, and hotel by Excel. We were reimbursed for meals later.

The "travel coordinator" for the trial in Denver got sick before my itinerary was completed..Now, the weekend, nothing happens. My Scan is scheduled for this Tuesday in Scottsdale, AZ..Maybe they will get it done and maybe they won't..

The VISION study paid for the trip from Corvallis, Oregon to Scottsdale, Arizona for the PSMA scan for both me and my wife. They arranged everything and it went like clockwork. Their travel coordinator did a magnificent job!

Do the names Scout Clinical and COLPITTS Clinical ring a bell ? They seem to be brokers who arrange travel for this trial...Do you remember the name of the hotel you stayed in in Scottsdale ? Thanks !

Kim Parlon at Colpitts arranged the travel for us. Direct flights from Eugene, Oregon to Scottsdale, Arizona. All ground transportation in Scottsdale (airport pick up and return, hotel pickup and transfers between clinics) was with Boston Corporate Coach and was smooth as silk. We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Scottsdale on E. Gold Dust Ave. No restaurant in the hotel, but some in easy walking distance (I don't walk fast). Colpitts originally wanted the ground transportation to be with Uber but we've never used Uber and don't have smartphones with all those new-fangled apps so they kindly made all the ground transportation arrangements with Boston Corporate Coach and we were very happy with that.
