Veyonda - Possible wonder drug?

Hi folks. I have been absent from this forum for some months. Having a few minor health challenges such as severe AF, etc. I had posted about a year ago about Veyonda. Its a drug undergoing trials in late stage PC. The company (Noxopharm - based in Sydney, AU) agree to provide Veyonda for my very late stage brother. Sadly, his MO would not allow him to have it, although I had provided all the Phase 1B data from the DAART 1 trial. My brother finally succumbed on the 22nd January. The final trial results will be presented at an international conference in Feb 21. These will show 4 out of 15 men had an abscopal response which saw the tumours greatly recede or disappear completely. Half saw their PSA reduce by more than 50% and 30% had significant reduction in pain.

Hi Alan,

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so frustrating that your brother wasn’t allowed to receive Veyonda. It looks like an amazing drug.

Hopefully, Veyonda will be available to more patients in the DARRT-2 trials. There will, also, be trials coming in 2021 of Veyonda with Opdivo. These trials can’t happen soon enough in my book!

Thank you for posting the update on Veyonda.

Best,

Hope59
