I have been prescribed Erleada. It is covered by Part D prescription plans which I have but for this drug they are all about the same. Does anyone have experience with taking Erleada and getting financial assistance to pay for it. My oncologist office is helping to get me financial assistance direct from the manufacturer which is Johnson & Johnson /Janssen CarePath. The retail price for a 30 day supply is $13,000.

It appears you haven’t been on generic abiraterone. Costs about $300 per month. The second opinions we had and the research we found indicate equal efficacy compared to Erleada. My husband’s MO switched from initially prescribing Erleada to abi at my husband’s request. There is liver function concern with abi that they monitor.
