That's one main reason I believe in natural things which have anti oxidant effect. Have you ever heard somebody ate a lot of oranges or guavas and got cancer ? Have you ever heard someone was drinking lot of green tea or black tea and developed cancer because of it. Staying with natural foods which have anti oxidant and anti inflammatory properties.

Actually some oranges are sprayed with red dye #40 to make them look orange. In spite of the carcinogens in red dye it is still used commercially.

Why would it matter? We don't eat the skins

The dye soaks into the pulp.
