Cannabidiol is the first United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved drug derived from the Cannabis plant. It is made by GW Pharmaceuticals. In September 2018, Epidiolex was placed by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Schedule V, the least restrictive schedule for controlled substances, notwithstanding Cannabis itself being in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act, for substances with "no currently accepted medical use"" [1]

I wondered when the drug was approved why the company had tested it on two conditions that would not make the investors rich? Cynic that I am, I'm wondering if they had bigger things in mind. Epidiolex is FDA-approved and no doubt men with PCa will be asking their docs to prescribe it off-label in advance of the trial findings.
