Xtandi looks to be failing

PSA has been bouncing around since placed on Xtandi , lowest 1.5 then between 5 and 3.88. Two Axmun PET Scans. One just before Xtandi and PSA 8 then when PSA was 5 both scans were negative for tumor or disease. My OC at Duke said to reach out and see if anywhere would perform a PMSA scan and she would be all for LU-177 ...Duke just finish a Clinical Trial with LU-177 and she was impressed but I would not have been eligible since no definitive metastatic disease...Current PSA doubled in last 4 months and is back to 8.3...I have contacted Choi RC at MD Anderson about PMSA. Any thoughts. Thanks Blue Skies. I am able to travel outside of USA when countries begin accepting us for travel entry....Dr. Zhang (Duke) really likes Australia for LU-177..

I had a PSMA test 08/01/2019 in Indianapolis. It was ordered by my 3rd IU Health urologist. It’s still being done at The IU Neuroscience Research Center as a Clinical research study @ IU School of Medicine. So that’s downtown Indianapolis.

I could connect you with more details if you would like pilot52. Message or get in though if you don’t mind PSMA I’m Indianapolis. Mine was very successful finding AVID hot spots in prostrate gland pelvic lymph nodes and abdominal lymph nodes. Be glad to assist.

I think you have posted that rather detailed medical report on the wrong forum of Healthunlocked, this part is for running, not a detailed report for medical studies or health professionals.

You said: Two Axmun PET Scans. One just before Xtandi and PSA 8 then when PSA was 5 both scans were negative for tumor or disease.

That means Xtandi has not failed. An increase in PSA does not mean the treatment has failed. Standard practice is not to chamge treatments based on PSA alone. A PSA of 8 is still very low. I'd stay the course and continue to get imaging.

I was a bit confused by that post, but, as I understand it - you're looking for a PSMA PET/CT? Here's one:
