Is there another group for early/low stage prostate cancer?

I don’t think people realize that this group is geared towards those with advanced prostate cancer. Is there another group they can be redirected? Anybody else feel the same? It reminds me a Facebook group that I used to be a part of. Everyone needs support for sure but I am really not that interested in non metastatic or progressive disease cases. Don’t want to sound cold just trying to focus on those of us that are just trying to hang on and not trying to decide whether a PSA increase of 0.01 in 6 months is concerning! 🙃

I agree. I’m already browsing 30 to 40 posts a day at times looking for posts relevant to my Stage IV mPCa. If you tap on the 9 circles in the menu at the top of the page you’ll see a community called Prostate Cancer Network. I think that is the place for those with curable cancer.

I totally agree with you. In the last three months we have moved away from Advanced Prostate Cancer. You spelled it out very nicely.

i also inquired about this, when the other PCa group here folded. At that time, HealthUnlocked put out a notice that all stages of PCa were welcome in this group.

Ah that explains it. Too bad. I find it hard reading about concerns relating to early stage non metastatic non resistant issues when some of our brothers are dealing with brain mets. Subconsciously I guess I am just angry that I will never have those types of concerns ever again...just focused on surviving and balancing quantity with quality.
