Yes, I've got beautiful CT abs/pelvis/chest and NM bone scans last Monday. Nothing found. Good news, great news. My Meds are working well. PSA is 0.75. Yes, I'm on Xarelto for AFIB prevention since Feb 14th. And NSR since Cath ablation May 6th.
I asked my EP(electrophysiologist) last Wed if I need Cancer blood coagulation monitoring, he said your on blood thinner right. Keep taking it. I will. I have O/V with my cardiologist NP this Tues, posing the same question to her. Do i need blood coagulation lab monitoring. Any answers?

Thanks tango65. I looked through some of that article and good facts. I already knew about some of them. Yes, I'm on Xarelto 20mg highest dose. Am i protected or not? I posed that question to my EP Dr last Wed. He said I was on Xarelto right. Your protected. But why not blood tests?
Will ask my Cardio NP office visit this Tues, if she does not give me an answer maybe I switch Cardiologist.
Yes sir, I just conveniently sent an e-msg to my cardio NP who I'm seeing this Tues AM.
My visit with my Electrophysiologist last Wed, when i asked him, my cancer cells cause clotting issues. His response was: Your on blood thinners right. Yes, Xarelto 20mg since cardioversion Valentines day. He said keep taking you Xarelto.
Ok, I also asked my Med Onc last Tues @ IU Simon Cancer center. He'd send that issue to my Cardiologist. Ok, I'm doing that.
I agree Nalakrats wht not a Fibrin or Fibrinogen blood lab test or a D-dimmer, it can't hurt.
I do have a little hurt, tenderness in my neck, lower right where my EP lab staff stabbed me with an artery line to access my heart May 6th. Oh well, its healed, so are my two groin cath incision sites.
