I took it for one year in a phase II clinical trial in 2018. I would love to be able to continue using it, but now I am stuck with Eligard.

How long does it take for something like this to be widely available? Has it cleared all trials? My MO says what I am on (Lupron, Zytiga w/Pred) is my only approved option. I am not sure where he got that but assumed it was from knowing my insurance provider and/or NCCN Guidelines. Or because I am mHSPC.

This is basically an oral form of Degarelix. I chose Degareleix specifically because the cardio effects were less than Lupron. One thing I didn't count on was the extreme pain and scarring a I got from the Degareleix shots. If this oral form is approved, I believe it will dominate the category.

Nal, how long do you think it will take the FDA to approve this new drug?
