I remember some postings last month about how those of us on ADT therapy are protected from Covid 19. But I took it with a grain of salt because it seem a bit theoretical. However, a large study confirmed just that. annalsofoncology.org/articl...
I am still going to be very careful because I’m older, overweight and pre-diabetic but this gives me some comfort. At least there is something good out of ADT therapy.

Great post. Thanks im with ya! We will take any good news and run with it . I had thought myself doomed I f I contracted covid 19 . Now I’m still staying away , but with no fear at all. Thank you .... pluck the day !😂
Just to be clear, it says (caps mine): "Prostate cancer patients receiving androgen-deprivation therapies APPEAR to be PARTIALLY protected from the infection... considering only the Veneto male population, 0.2% and 0.3% of non-cancer and cancer patients " [who tested positive].
That is encouraging. They are now doing trials to try to confirm these observations. So true "confirmation" is still pending. But it makes sense to think it WILL be confirmed, so I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade!
The title mentions: "... a population-based study". These studies provide low evidence only. The Mediterranian diet against cancer is also based on population-based studies.
